How large unwanted items collection service works

We can collect large unwanted items that are not easily recycled or can be disposed of by you.
Collections take place on Tuesday or Wednesday.
You can select your own collection date up to 8 weeks in advance.
You can book as many collections as you like in a year.
Leave the items clearly outside the front of your property, the night before your collection.
They will be collected on your requested day by 4pm.

What we can collect

We collect a wide range of goods from carpets to washing machines.
Before you order a collection check the list of acceptable items.

What we can't collect

We can't collect pianos, garden waste, rubble or items of DIY nature, clinical or hazardous waste.
These items can be disposed of using a legitimate commercial collection or at the Household Waste Recycling Centre in Reading or Bracknell.

Order online

A charge of £66.00 applies for a collection of up to 5 items.
If you are unable to order online, call 0118 979 8298. This is an unattended line so leave your name, collection address and a daytime contact number. You can pay by debit or credit card (we do not accept American Express)

Check the status of your request

You will need the request number and the email linked to the request.

Cancel a request

You can cancel an order up to 3pm the day before collection.

Amend a request

If you want to change a scheduled collection date or the items to be collected, you will have to cancel your existing request and order a new booking. If you cancel a request, there is no guarantee that your selected slot will remain available should you wish to raise a new booking.
